The scalpel-less facelift, or Silhouette-Lift™, is an elegant way to get better results with less down time.
Dr. Stanley performs his scalpel-less facelift, or Silhouette-Lift™,in the most minimally invasive way possible. He uses the latest radio frequency techniques to make small incisions in the scalp. A scalpel never touches your face during this procedure. The rest of the facelift is done through needles and an innovative suture known as “Silhouette Thread.”
Silhouette Sutures™ are a new suspension suture. This non invasive technique is used to lift and reposition sagging mid-face tissue. The Silhouette Sutures™ offer significantly greater lift due to their unique bio resorbable cones . The sutures are attached to the temporal fascia. To achieve this, a small incision is made above the hairline, where the sutures are anchored.
Using sound waves to make incisions ensures less bleeding, bruising, and scarring, which leads to a lesser recovery time. Traditional facelift recovery is anywhere from 4-6 weeks. Recovery time for a scalpel-less facelift is about three days. During those three days, patients report minimal pain and discomfort, but they are on facial rest while they heal.
Q. Who is a good candidate for Silhouette Face Lift?
A good candidate is a male of female age 30+, a non-smoker in general good health who desires a brighter, more youthful appearance in their face, neck, and/or jowls.
Q. What is the downtime for this procedure?
Dr. Stanley requires three days of facial rest following the Silhouette Face Lift. This is not three days of hurting, but rather, the body needs about three days for the sutures to scar in, maintaining the “lift” in your desired areas. You may experience mild swelling and bruising in the days following your procedure.
Q. Will I need retightening?
Even after your facelift, your skin will continue to age, naturally. On average, patients desire an additional retightening after 5 years. If you desire a retightening in the year following your procedure, Dr. Stanley will perform a complimentary retightening.
Q. Can I pair this procedure with a Neck Lift or a Blepharoplasty?
You can absolutely pair this with another facial procedure, and have everything done on the same day.
Q. What is the cost for Silhouette Face Lift?
Silhouette Face Lift at SCULPT Contemporary Cosmetic Surgery costs $3200. We also charge a $750 facility fee. If you desire a retightening after the 1 year mark, SCULPT charges a $750 facility fee.
